Sarisuki has partnered with MoEngage, a top customer engagement platform in the APAC region, to transform the agricultural supply chain in the Philippines. Their e-grocery platform taps into the potential of local communities to improve the lives of farmers and consumers in the country.

The platform’s goal is to support farmers, foster entrepreneurship, and enhance supply chain efficiency, thereby revolutionizing the agriculture sector in the Philippines. The platform ensures that farmers receive fair compensation and consumers can access affordable food, promoting sustainability in the food supply chain. Sarisuki’s Agri Super Highway enables stakeholders to connect and work towards sustainability, equity, and transparency.

Sarisuki works directly with Ka-Sangga farmers to provide fair prices and support to enhance their farming practices. They aim to involve one million Ka-Sangga farmers and have 20,000 Ka-Sari Community Leaders distribute fresh produce to over 800,000 community members. The platform promotes sustainable farming by engaging with six farms and two more that practice eco-friendly methods. Their model is based on trust, transparency, and collaboration, which benefits supply chains, reduces inflation, and encourages young entrepreneurs.

Sarisuki caters to customers in urban and rural areas of the Philippines, including metro regions. They provide doorstep delivery through the Agri Super Highway and offer many products not commonly found in local markets. The platform eliminates various supply chain intermediaries, resulting in competitive pricing and reduced costs for both farmers and consumers.

“We at MoEngage are dedicated to providing Sarisuki with deep and actionable insights on consumer behavior, preferences, likes, and dislikes, thus enabling the community selling platform to personalize experiences and engage customers better,” said Saurabh Madan, General Manager, Southeast Asia, ANZ, and Japan, MoEngage.

Sarisuki has seen growth in its customer base due to more orders being placed through Agri Super Highway. This is because of better digital infrastructure and increased internet and mobile connectivity in the Philippines. Now, customers can conveniently browse and buy various products with just a few clicks and deliver their groceries straight to their doorsteps.

“With MoEngage’s advanced capabilities, we can personalize our interactions with customers, providing them with relevant and timely updates about new products, promotions, and special offers,” said Bam Mejia – Chief Commercial Offer and Co-Founder, Sarisuki.
