139

To provide reprieve for users affected by Typhoon Carina, Philippine digital bank Maya is waiving penalties for Easy Credit and Personal Loan until August 15, 2024.

Without penalty fees, users subscribed to Maya Easy Credit and Maya Personal Loan are not required to pay until August 15. Their credit standing will not be affected as well.

Users will receive a notification from their Maya app or through SMS if they’re qualified. Notably, only those who reside in affected areas and have good credit standing are eligible for this offering.

By August 15, all customers must continue paying their fees. After this date, their account will start incurring penalties and other fees if payment is not received.
