Many companies worldwide have strict security policies that restrict cloud cybersecurity training solutions. To address this, Kaspersky has introduced an on-premises model of its Automated Security Awareness Platform (ASAP), allowing companies to have full control over their data and infrastructure without using the Internet.

Kaspersky’s recent study showed that 77% of companies worldwide have experienced at least one cyber incident over the past two years, with most incidents caused by human error. To prevent future cyber incidents, companies consider specialized training for IT employees (37%) and employees of non-IT departments (31%) important.

To develop cybersecurity skills among company staff, Kaspersky ASAP is used by organizations in more than 75 countries, which have already improved the cybersecurity skill sets of more than 2 million employees.

This solution has expanded to an on-premises model, allowing installation inside a customer’s infrastructure for maximum confidentiality in industries like fintech, manufacturing, healthcare, and government.

The ASAP solution also covers major cybersecurity topics, including industrial and remote work security. This helps companies comply with regulatory requirements like the NIS2 Directive, which mandates cybersecurity training for all employees, including senior management.

In the latest ‘2024 Security Awareness & Training Tools Emotional Footprint’ report, Kaspersky ASAP was once again recognized as a Champion with a Net Emotional Footprint of 90%. Users noted simulated attacks, topic breadth, ease of IT administration, availability, and quality of skill-enhancing solutions as the best features.

“As a cybersecurity company we make sure employees – even in security-sensitive companies – can access digital literacy learning tools, so they can recognize and counter cyber threats. Through updates to Kaspersky Automated Security Awareness Platform, with on-premises, they now enjoy the same functionality as the cloud version with the benefit of offering users access to training materials even without an internet connection,” comments Tatyana Shumaylova, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Kaspersky Security Awareness.
