Honda Philippines Donates Life-Saving Generators to Power Communities

Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) donated 70 units of 6.5KVA Generator Sets to the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) to uphold its Corporate Social Responsibility.

As a trusted partner of Honda, PRC has been reaching out and helping communities for decades, notably during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and Super Typhoon Odette in 2021.

Honda aims to support life-saving programs, especially during calamities and disasters, by donating generator sets to the PRC. These generators shall enhance emergency response by providing reliable power to PRC chapters, ensuring timely assistance, and powering essential medical equipment. They also support continuous communication during disasters, crucial for coordinating relief efforts and ensuring community safety.

Additionally, they help the PRC operate efficiently during power outages caused by natural disasters like typhoons and the current La Niña situation.
