Globe Sets Up Team Dedicated AI Adoption and Development, To Formally Operate on June 1

Globe Telecom Inc. has announced the formation of a specialized team that will focus on adopting and developing artificial intelligence (AI).

Globe’s AI Development and Enablement Group (AIDE) will concentrate on strategic planning for artificial intelligence, developing AI, integrating it into the business, and ensuring governance. The team will start its official operations on June 1, 2024.

Anton Bonifacio has been appointed Globe’s first Chief AI Officer (CAIO). He specializes in cybersecurity and data privacy and is the company’s chief information security officer.

“We are committed to fostering a culture of innovation and responsible AI use, ensuring that our advancements not only drive business growth, improve service delivery, and enhance customer experience, but also adhere to the highest standards of governance and compliance,” shared Bonifacio.
