Daily Fantasy, a fantasy sports platform for fans to create their dream teams in NBA and MPBL, launched “Project Bola.”
Partnered with world-renowned sports equipment brand Molten and basketball community group UBTG (United By The Game), it is an initiative to empower young basketball players in the Philippines by distributing high-quality sports basketballs to local communities in light of the holiday spirit of giving.
Basketball is important in Filipino culture. It is both a passion and a way to bring people together. Daily Fantasy’s “Project Bola” wants to help young basketball fans by giving them the tools to improve their skills and love for the game. The project aims to inspire their enthusiasm for basketball, strengthen the sport’s presence in the Philippines, and empower young people to believe in their potential on and off the court.
“Daily Fantasy believes that sports have the power to transform lives. Through this project, we aim to provide children the opportunity to dream big, come together as a community, and grow their passion for basketball. We’re proud to contribute to their journey and help grow basketball in local communities,” said Carlos Molina, Brand Marketing Manager of Daily Fantasy.
The basketball distribution has visited communities in Tondo, Taguig City, Pasig City, Quezon City, Caloocan City, and Rizal this holiday season. It will continue to reach areas within and outside Metro Manila, including Pampanga, Bulacan, Quezon Province, and Batangas. Community events are planned to promote unity and celebrate the sport.
As part of its holiday plans, Daily Fantasy is offering special promotions for users. From November 25 to December 31, 2024, players can use a special promo code for free gameplay. Additionally, from December 13 to December 24, 2024, users can win exciting prizes, including NBA City Edition Jerseys, Nike basketball shoes, and New Era Caps.
