At the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City, the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) organized an “Electronic Undas” program for persons deprived of liberty (PDL) to pay respects to their departed family members.

From November 1 to 2, inmates were allowed to go online through laptops and headphones.

BuCor launched the e-Undas program so that PDLs can participate in virtual activities that help to express their remembrance for their deceased relatives and loved ones.

“This initiative fosters a sense of compassion and dedication to the service as they reform PDLs,” said BuCor in a statement.
