BrightNight, a company that produces renewable energy cleanly and reliably, has partnered with ACEN Corporation to work together on building renewable energy projects in the Philippines.

This partnership will help BrightNight build and operate its first set of renewable energy projects to produce 1.0 GW of energy, enough to power many homes and businesses in the region. This is excellent news for the environment and people who want to use clean energy!

They plan to create a lot of renewable energy to power a whole city over the next five years. It will cost a lot of money, around US$1.2 billion, but they believe it will be worth it. This isn’t the first time they’ve worked together – they already had a successful project in India last year.

BrightNight is a company that specializes in creating and managing large renewable energy power plants in the Philippines. Its team of experienced locals, led by Michael Yamazoe, uses advanced technology, such as an AI-driven design and optimization software platform called PowerAlpha, to make its plants more efficient and effective.

ACEN is a company with a significant presence in the Asia Pacific region, including countries like the Philippines, Australia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and India. It has been working hard to create more renewable energy sources and currently has about 4.8 GW of renewable energy capacity. ACEN aims to reach 20 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.

“ACEN’s leadership in the Philippines’ renewables sector is unparalleled, and we are honored they have chosen to form a partnership with us to develop our portfolio of multi-tech and industry-leading next generation renewable solutions in their home market,” said BrightNight CEO Martin Hermann.

The investment will help BrightNight build more things in the Philippines and grow bigger in a part of the world where people are using more energy. ACEN will also help BrightNight by using its connections and expertise in the energy industry.

“We deeply value our relationship with BrightNight and share a common goal of building higher capacity, hybridized renewable power solutions that deliver safe, affordable, reliable, and clean power,” said Patrice Clausse, ACEN Group Chief Investment Officer.
