Bossjob has formed a strategic partnership with the Bicol Local Government Units (LGU) and key regional businesses to enhance employment opportunities and drive economic growth in the region.

With its chat-first career platform and AI-powered recruitment solutions, this collaboration aims to address unemployment and modernize recruitment processes. It can connect employers and job seekers instantly, boosting the efficiency of the hiring process and providing personalized job-matching experiences.

“The integration of Bossjob’s innovative platform into our local job market represents a significant advancement. We anticipate positive impacts on career growth and job opportunities for our residents,” said Hon. Carmen Geraldine Rosal, Legazpi City Mayor.

On September 10, 2024, Bossjob organized an event called “Bossjob Revolution: Empowering Careers in Bicol” at Casa Blanca Hotel in Legazpi City. The event included a dynamic discussion with notable speakers and was attended by key stakeholders, including the local government and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) such as the Office of the Mayor (Legazpi City), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Public Employment Service Office (PESO), Albay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Ako Bicol Partylist, Junior Chamber International (JCI Legazpi), members of the media, and regional influencers. This event officially marked the launch of Bossjob’s expansion in the region.

One of these dicussions was about the landscape of today’s employement, where the rapidly advancing technology is influencing job creation and the need for platforms like Bossjob to meet these evolving demands, delved on by Joseph Ayala, representative of DOLE Region V.

Bossjob’s Growth Director, Feby Llosala-Luñeza, highlighted the company’s dedication to enhancing job searches. She noted that expanding into Bicol demonstrates their commitment to advanced career solutions in Southeast Asia, including AI and Direct Chat features for an improved user experience.
