Bossjob, a chat-based career platform for professional hiring in Southeast Asia (SEA), used Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology when co-organized the 2nd Filipino-Chinese Job Fair on October 15, 2023, at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

Among those who have found this technology helpful is Mary Grace Barlita, a graduating student pursuing a degree in Entrepreneurship. The new feature has helped Mary overcome her job search challenges.
Barlita once attended a job fair to find internships and boost career credentials. She shared a relatable story about the frustrating job search experience.
“I had already submitted my application and other requirements to a recruiting company, and they told me to just wait. I waited for 6-7 months, but after that, I couldn’t contact them anymore. I felt frustrated because I had high expectations of getting the job,” said Barlita.
