New Bold University (NBU) has concluded its “Visionary NXT: Branding Masterclass for the Next Big Brands,” an innovative event that united over 50 founders across the Philippines.

This masterclass, held from May 10 to 11, 2024, at The Astbury in Makati City, empowered the next generation of brand leaders to create socially impactful brands.

The event spanned two days and featured entrepreneurs, startup founders, and marketing experts discussing advanced marketing tactics and brand establishment. The reduced cost of brand creation, attributed to AI and new technologies, has made brand-building more attainable. Visionary NXT aimed to help attendees construct resilient and purpose-oriented brands capable of adapting to the evolving market.

NBU Founder Ralph Layco led the masterclass, which offered sessions on “Masterminding Your Next Big Brand” and “Building Your Brand’s DNA for Success” on its first day. He emphasized the importance of strategic thinking and preparedness for the evolving business environment.

The masterclass featured other notable speakers, including Rolling Media Founder Jozelle Tech, who discussed “The Brand Hero: Unleashing the Founder’s Inner Powers and Story,” and Colourette Cosmetics CEO Nina Dizon, who shared her journey in “How I Built a ‘Cult’ Brand: The Colourette Magic & Mission.”

On the second day, industry experts led participants in workshops and discussions. Sessions included “Community Building” by Tala by Kyla Founder Janet Kyla, a panel discussion featuring Pam Chan and Layco, insights on “TikTok Marketing” by Good Diva Marketing Founder Mariella Tiano, and more.

NBU aims to inspire participants to create successful brands that make a positive impact on society by fostering this community.

“Entrepreneurship is not exclusive, it is for anyone with the dream, vision and determination to adapt and succeed. If we have more founders with the right mindset, we can solve more local problems, and we can contribute to a brighter future for the Philippines.” said Layco.
