With the recent Philippine milestone in this year’s Olympic games, Aice Philippines rewards athletes who won medals with cash incentives.
Gymnast Carlos Yulo received PHP2 Million for his double-gold performance. Meanwhile, boxers Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas received PHP300,000 each for winning bronze medals.
“Thank you so much for recognizing our achievements. I hope that we can help other gymnasts to reach Olympic level. May you continue supporting us,” said Yulo, who also received a year’s supply of Aice ice cream.
Before the awarding ceremony, the Olympians toured the Aice factory in Lima Land, owned by Aboitiz.
The awarding ceremony also included Olympians Joanie Delgaco (rowing), Eumir Marcial, and Hergie Bacyadan (boxing), as well as Gymnastics Association president Cynthia Carrion, Philippine Olympic Committee marketing head Nikko Huelgas, LIMA Land president Rafael Fernandez de Mesa, and operations vice president Clifford Academia.
Aice is the global Olympic partner and the official ice cream of the Philippine Olympic Team, committed to supporting athletes who continue to be a source of inspiration for the Filipino youth.
